I feel that it is important for the dominant to have an understanding of what the submissive顺从 — willing to obey is feeling and vice versa. This does not have to be accomplished by changing your role, in reality, both roles are within us, our thoughts about each role are filtered through our feelings and we choose to actively pursue the role that gives us the most enjoyment. As every submissive顺从 — willing to obey has fantasised about the perfect dominant, so has the dominant fantasised about the perfect slave奴隶 — a person kept in total obedience.

When I am with a slave奴隶 — a person kept in total obedience, I sense his anxiety. It gives me a guideline to go by as to how far and how fast I can manoeuvre that person into the position in which I want him to be. When I look at him it as though I am looking into a mirror. A human mirror. It sends chills down my spine as I realise the complete opposite position he is in from me. To have someone on their knees, wrists shackled behind their back looking up at you is exciting yes, but to mentally put yourself in his position is dynamite. How thrilling it is when one learns to acknowledge and feel the effect their presence is having on another human being.

Speaking of many submissives顺从 — willing to obey, their excitement comes from not only being submissive顺从 — willing to obey to me, but also from feeling the power emanating from me. I am also a mirror for them. In a few rare cases the slave奴隶 — a person kept in total obedience and I have been able to transcend our mortal beings and enter into a realm of pure raw power.
