Her mother is a wise woman and so is your wife for following her advice. Perhaps waiting six months after marriage to consummate the marriage is a bit extreme to some, but I wish more women would take the upper hand in a relationship right from the outset. A woman needs to set the sexual boundaries and she needs to hold the male to those boundaries. A man needs to prove himself worthy before a woman allows him the right to enjoy sexual pleasure. A man’s focus should be on the woman’s pleasure. You proved yourself to your wife and you have been rewarded with a wonderful woman and a wonderful marriage. God shined upon you when you met your wife and never forget that. Best wishes!
