Dominatrix女支配者 — a dominant woman Salutation
Screen 1 of 3
Shirley Eaton
Her character's death in "Goldfinger", being painted head to toe in gold paint and suffering "skin suffocation", led to an urban myth that Eaton had died during filming. She appeared in a 2003 episode of the series "MythBusters" to dispel the rumor.
Be that as it may, Shirly Eaton's image covered in gold paint is indelibly burnt into the minds of sixties spy fans.
Shirley Eaton appeared regularly in British films throughout the 1950s and 1960s, and achieved notability for her performance as Jill Masterson in the 1964 James Bond film "Goldfinger". After "Goldfinger", Eaton made only a few more films, including the FemDom女性支配 — female domination themed film "The Million Eyes of Su-Muru" (1967), before her early retirement as she decided to devote herself to raising a family.
Throughout her career, she appeared with many of the top British male comedy stars from the period. Her early roles include "Three Men In A Boat" (1956) and "Date with Disaster" (1957). She also worked with Mickey Spillane in "The Girl Hunters" (1963) in which Spillane played his own literary creation Mike Hammer. She starred in a version of "Ten Little Indians" (1965) with Fabian, and although she rarely appeared on television, she did three episodes of "The Saint", starring Roger Moore.
Eaton achieved the most recognition for her performance as Jill Masterson in the 1964 James Bond film "Goldfinger", and she appeared on the cover of Life Magazine in her gold-painted persona.
