FemDom女性支配 — female domination Humor

We see it all around us; Aggressive, beautiful, confident women dominating the inferior male species. We see women being portrayed as in-charge and men being portrayed as servants or sex-slaves奴隶 — a person kept in total obedience. Are we talking about Fetish恋物 — a strong sexual focus on one thing magazines or FemDom女性支配 — female domination websites? No, we are talking about mainstream advertising, trying to sell everything from perfume, to clothing to accessories. Are these images primarily targeting men? Surprisingly, many of these advertisements are targeting women.

Feminists have long been concerned with the way women are portrayed in various forms of media, ranging from advertisements to pornography. In general, feminists have claimed that women are all too often portrayed, in varying degrees, as mere sex objects and as submissive顺从 — willing to obey to men. This was wrong, they argued, because it objectifies women and encourages men to treat them as things rather than people.

Hollywood and Madison Avenue are capitalizing on the ever-growing male submissive顺从 — willing to obey nature as advertising is celebrating the powerful woman. The sexual, powerful female captivates men and the advertising profession is not shy about promoting the dominant female or capitalizing on the submissive顺从 — willing to obey nature of man.
