FemDom女性支配 — female domination in Advertising

Screen 3 of 3

Of course, those are the subtle ads. What is happening today is that ads are no longer going for a subtle message. They are becoming bold about their portrayal of female domination. Men on leashes牵引绳 — a lead clipped to a collar, men under foot, women using men as furniture and footstools, men groveling before women, and men helpless and powerless when confronted with the superior, intelligent and sexual female are all common themes in advertising.

Indeed, a "new woman" has emerged in commercials and in magazine ads in recent years. She is presented as “superwoman”, who manages to balance career and family (with the help of a product, of course), or she is being portrayed as the liberated woman, who owes her independence and self-esteem to the products she uses.

Naturally, the wise female recognizes that ads are exaggerations and they are all about profit, even if there are true sociological commentaries interwoven within the ad. Yet, the female nature smiles and approves of this change in advertising. She no longer must have a certain product in order to please a man. She now decides which products she wants in order to please herself.

The new woman is a sexual woman, a confident woman, an intelligent woman and that is how she wants to be portrayed. And these FemDom女性支配 — female domination images will further stir the submissive顺从 — willing to obey nature of man. The male gender is constantly being reminded that the tables are turning and the future is female. And he wouldn’t have it any other way.
