History of Female Domination Magazines: 1970 - Present

Screen 12 of 22

FemDom女性支配 — female domination themes began to creep into some of the "7-Eleven" behind the counter Adult publications. Perhaps the most famous example of this was Club magazine in 1982. A popular “skin” magazine, Club ran a monthly feature by an invented expert of perversions, Dr. Karl Steiner. His first feature (called Steiner's Carnal Jigsaw) ran in 1980 and each month he covered such topics as voyeurism, bisexuality and transvestism. However, in May 1982, Club featured the first part of Dr. Karl Steiner's fictional six part series called “The Kalmann Diaries”. Orginally, it was going to be a longer series with at least eight installments, however it was so controversial and graphic, Club pulled the plug after part six ran in the October 1982 issue.

As the FemDom女性支配 — female domination magazine entered the 1980’s, perhaps the most influential publishing company was “Strictly Speaking” out of Palm Springs, California. David Jackson was a big fan of Female Domination and Fetish恋物 — a strong sexual focus on one thing magazines, thus he started out by publishing two widely popular fetish恋物 — a strong sexual focus on one thing magazines, “Fantasy Register” and “Stiletto细高跟 — a very thin high heel”.
