Screen 9 of 11

In season 6, in the episode 'Pirates of the Third Reich', Lady Heather's daughter is murdered. They were still estranged when Zoe was murdered. Racked with grief, Lady Heather slept with the main suspect in the case in order to obtain a DNA sample from him, and later abducted and whipped him.

Grissom stopped her with a safeword安全词 — a word that means stop - in a previous encounter, Lady Heather explained to Grissom that in a domination relationship, the slave奴隶 — a person kept in total obedience is in control.

This use of the domination code by Grissom points to the mutual understanding of the characters, and perhaps to the nature of the relation once enjoyed by both. The safeword安全词 — a word that means stop indeed makes Heather stop and she takes brief solace in Grissom's arms. Heather would be arrested for assault, but was eventually released from jail by a judge who allegedly was a client of hers.

Lady Heather re-appears in season 7 in "The Good, the Bad, and the Dominatrix女支配者 — a dominant woman".
