Somewhere along the way she had what she called an "ah ha!" moment. It was truly as if a switch had been flipped and the lights went on. No longer did she feel inadequate, but rather empowered by the thought of the female led relationship. Something in the way you wrote made her realize that it was OK to follow this path.
