My wife and Darnell dated for several months before they ended their relationship. A short time later, my wife met another younger man and they began dating soon afterwards. She is always very careful, very selective, and very discreet with her boyfriends. When our daughters were at home, my wife would almost always go out on a Saturday night and always come home, albeit sometimes very late. (Our daughters knew their Mother went out with friends occasionally but until they both reach adulthood my wife has decided not to tell them she dates.)

Now that our daughters are both away at college, my wife usually spends the night with her boyfriend before coming home the next morning. Several years ago my wife bought our family a vacation cottage at a nearby lake and she now sometimes take her boyfriend to the lake for the day. And because our daughters are out of the house, my wife’s recent boyfriends may occasionally call her at home during the week to discuss arrangements for their date. Several weeks ago I even took a phone message for her from her current boyfriend when he was unable to reach her on her cell phone. And always, after a date, my wife and I will talk about what she and her boyfriend did. She will tell me what movie they may have seen or where they might have gone for dinner, and, of course, she will share all the details of their sex life.
