The Leather Couch - Part II
Screen 16 of 18
"I grew up Catholic and I learned to love Jesus. Then, like most young people in college, I doubted the existence of God so I searched out many different faiths and beliefs. I was a Unitarian for a while but I finally returned to my first faith, Christianity. I could not deny truth and Christianity was based on the solid foundation of truth. However, I did not return to the Catholic Church nor to a male dominated Protestant church. I learned to read the Bible myself and to seek for the truth myself. What I discovered was that God is just as much female as male. So is Jesus. He came to earth as a man but his nature has just as much female traits and characteristics as male. I learned that the first man, Adam, was both male and female and that Eve was created by God pulling the female nature out of Adam. Then they were joined back together through marriage. I believe that Eve was God's last and greatest creation, thus women are superior to men. Women became in subjection to man and the wife became in subjection to the husband as a part of the curse that came upon this world when Adam and Eve rebelled from God. However, Jesus has restored all things through his resurrection. Women do not have to be in subjection to men, although marriage is still very important and men and women should submit to each other in love. Still, someone must rule and be in charge and I feel that the woman is best equipped for this. Let's be honest. Women run most marriages, even in Fundamentalist Christian circles. The men preach and talk like they are in charge but if you spend any time around them or if you could look behind closed doors, you would see that the wife runs the show. Dominant females are just more open and honest about it."
