Real Life Stories - Entries for October 2012

Screen 4 of 18

As the year begins, I feel a great passion to improve my submission to all Women, but most especially to my wonderful Wife. It is the little acts of service that she most appreciates. Acts that are spontaneous. And lots of them. For example, one cold winter morning before She left for work, I got an urge to run out to Her car and warm it up so the inside would be comfortable for Her to drive to work. Once the car was running I sat on the cold leather seat until it too was warm. Then suddenly She appeared at the doorway to leave. It was raining a little bit, and I realized that She would get wet walking to the car. In a near panic, I grabbed the umbrella from the seat pocket and jumped out and ran over to her. Holding the umbrella over Her head, I walked Her to the car. She seemed surprised and amused by this service. I exclaimed that I would not want a single drop of water to fall on Her beautiful hair. She was obviously pleased. She told me that She expected this service to be repeated without fail as often as appropriate. As She drove away, I went back into the house feeling proud and happy that I had discovered a few more small acts of service with which to please my Wife. I have made a New Years resolution that from now on, when I see a Woman walking in the rain, I will ask Her to please take my umbrella, because it is more important for Her to stay dry.
