The Older Woman/Younger Male Relationship
Screen 6 of 9
Naturally, the liberated woman and the career woman have the freedom to date whomever they choose, including the freedom to date for fun and sex. A survey for “New Woman” magazine examined the trend of older women dating younger men. Two-fifths of those who took part in the survey for “New Woman” magazine said they had enjoyed a relationship with a younger man or “boy-toy”. Just over three-quarters of those who had dated younger men said they were at least five years their junior, while for a fifth the age gap was at least a decade.
Older women are looking better every day, thanks to creative medical advances and a gym on every corner. Women are more likely to come back on the dating market because of divorce and a longer expected life span.
Sexual compatibility offers another stimulating incentive for dating younger men. Sex is great with younger men. A woman reaches her sexual peak at 40 and she doesn’t ever lose her libido, barring health issues. Men, on the other hand, reach their sexual peak in their teen-age years and their libido continues to decline from that point on. The end result in these types of relationships is that a woman in her 40s may meet a man in his 20s, and sexually, they would be extremely compatible.
Works of Literature and Movies from Hollywood have captured the common male teenage fantasy of being seduced by an older woman. I would venture to say that most teenage males have had some variation of the Older Woman fantasy.
