I rapidly concluded the situation was untenable and informed Rachael that our little fun could not be sustained any longer. To my astonishment Rachael's reaction was "Tough, Lisa is your problem. Our contract specifically states that unforeseen circumstances which might call for an early release are 'to be laughed at and ignored'!"
Of course I knew that the ultimate fail safe solution was to buy a hacksaw and remove the device by destroying it. But that seemed so classless that I decided to try appealing to Rachael's good sense one more time. I flew to her home in the mid-west. What I soon learned flabbergasted me. It turned out that Rachael's 19 year marriage was "a sham" as she put it and was rapidly spiraling into the toilet from her point of view, divorce seemed inevitable. Rachael had also long ago tired of sex with her husband, in fact she felt that his demands were an arduous chore at best, and this had been the case since their honeymoon!
