Over dinner, we made conversation. I asked Galena about her horse riding interest. She said she was taught horse riding at a young age by her Mother. I asked her what she enjoyed about horse riding and if it was the wind rushing in her hair. She said in exact words "The stallion is a majestic animal. To have such a powerful animal submitting to my control is an exhilarating experience every time I ride. The wind rushing through my hair could just as well be experienced from a race bike or a convertible with the roof down." I could only nod my head at such a reply. When I asked how they had met. Galena said in a car accident. She had accidentally hit Simon's car in a parking lot. When I asked what happened then, she said Simon apologize, repaired her car and took her out for dinner. I said “that sounds like a good deal." It was meant as a joke but Simon looked uneasy and Galena broke the awkwardness by announcing that she was tired and that Simon had to clear up the dishes.

The next day, Simon droved both Galena and Consuela to the nearest town for some groceries and some cosmetics. I was left alone for the morning. I was wandering about the house and somehow found myself in Galena's bedroom as the room had an ornate and large door. I was surprised to find Galena's riding boots and pants in a heap by the armchair. I saw a tape on the dressing table and thought it strange since there was no TV or VCR in the room itself.
