Real Stories - September/October 2008

I am not saying that what she did was moral or ethical or fair to you, but you asked about it and I am letting you know that you were a pawn in her sexual game, a game that is played by a married couple who more than likely, deep down, loves each other. Why else would a woman go through all of that unless she wanted to fulfill her husband’s unique sexual desires? She was not treating him cruelly; rather she was giving him what he craves. If she would have treated you that way, it would have been cruel. But to treat her husband that way, a man she knows intimately, she was having a sexual encounter of the minds with him.
This is hard for some people to fathom and I do not expect you to embrace what they did. In fact, I applaud you for not going against your conscience a second time. You compromised your values when you went out with her, but to your credit, you didn’t allow it to happen twice. That does not mean you should judge this couple by your own values. You may not agree with what they do behind closed-doors, and you certainly do not have to go down a similar path, however you need to realize that this event was not as it appeared on the surface.
