Dear Ms. Sutton, my husband and I have been married for about 10 years now. I think it is fair to say that a female-led relationship came easy to us – me being quite assertive and my husband being naturally submissive顺从 — willing to obey. Whilst this is acted out in various sexual play forms, it is also manifest in the way we lead our lives. I am the main bread winner and work full-time; my husband is much more of the home-maker, responsible for most of the housework and child related activities such as school engagement and the like; I make the decisions regarding finances, investments, etc, and have all bank accounts in my name, although my husband has access to them; while we discuss all relevant decisions, it is most common for my husband to defer to my opinion and decision on things.

After several years, we also explored domestic discipline, both in play, but also as way of resolving disputes and arguments. While I do not take Louis across my knee for bad behaviour as often these days as in the past, it has also been a symbol of the relationship we have. Perhaps things have become so natural to us, that incidences of rudeness and obnoxious behaviour have become rare, with the knowledge that any such behaviour results in a lengthy and painful appointment between my hairbrush and his backside.

Ours is a loving and committed relationship. We have always been faithful to each other and we believe that we have a wonderful formula for our marriage.
