It is not uncommon for my discipline sessions with John to last well over an hour. We have gone two hours and even longer. I drag them out and most times we talk very little during these discipline sessions, when I’m not reading from a book. Besides “Venus in Furs”, I have read to him from other books, including Elise’s two books, while I whip him.

There is a calm and a quiet and we both drift off into our roles. I discipline him with love and he receives his discipline with love. The only times I get verbally forceful with him is when I want to point out an area that he needs improvement or when I tell him about an upcoming event that I know he will not be enthusiastic about (like me going away to visit my family or one of them coming to visit us). These discipline sessions provide me with the perfect venue to get my loving husband to agree to whatever I want.”
