Cruise acts like a typical male and he becomes very jealous, even to the point where he almost sleeps with a prostitute that he later finds out has AIDS.

How typical for a male. Just because his wife thinks about another man, not actually doing anything, he is ready to throw his marriage, his profession, and maybe even his life away because he can’t handle the thought.
