Preparation.

Make all necessary arrangements. If you have children, arrange a babysitter or make arrangements to drop them off at the grandparents. If you have pets, make all necessary arrangements to have them cared for while you are away. I image most of you will want to do this over a weekend, however some of you still may need to sign up for vacation time at work. If your spouse needs to take some time off from work, you must be clever on how you approach this. I would just order him to sign up for vacation on a certain date or two, and don’t give him any explanations. By now, he should be at a place where he realizes that he is to obey you, with no questions asked. Next, make your reservations at the place where you plan to stay.
