Where will it level out? Is sixty percent as far as the ratio of women to men will go in post-secondary education? Who knows the future but I suspect the government will try to ensure that men do not far much further behind by requiring Institutions of Higher Learning to accept a set number of males. Just as the government required that a set number of women received equal educational opportunities back when women were facing discrimination, the tables have turned and now there are conferences and workshops and governmental meetings where they are discussing how to help boys get more scholarships and access to College. But if you were to remove all governmental interference and University politics from the situation and if Colleges and Universities simply accepted students based on grades, test scores, entrance exams and classroom performance, you would see the number of female post-secondary students going well above the 60% mark. We still may see a number reaching 65% in some places by the end of this decade, even with an effort to give more scholarships to boys.
