Asking if the other party is familiar with your work would work if the answer were affirmative. But if the other party is not familiar, that leaves the questioner way out on a limb that might be embarrassing or humiliating to climb back from (and not in the good way). What do you think?
Best regards.
A. I think society and pop-culture affords a man many avenues to approach the subject of Female Domination with a woman. There are songs, books, movies, news articles, etc that portray Female Domination from a mainstream perspective that could open the door for an honest conversation about FemDom女性支配 — female domination.
You could drop my name in reference to my book or my site and if the woman has no knowledge of who I am, you could easily backtrack by simply saying I am a feminist writer who believes that society is evolving toward female dominance and female rule. Such a statement should open the conversation in a way where you will discover her beliefs as they relate to the traditional roles of the sexes. It is doubtful that her mind would go to D&S or sex since she has no knowledge of my book or my site. She’ll more than likely assume you are referring to modern day feminism and sociological issues.
