Both of us were especially impressed by how you trod that very tricky line about FemDom女性支配 — female domination not becoming bullying. Human history is so full of MaleDom bullying that to read about how FemDom女性支配 — female domination is about caring for the male by training him properly in his subservient role so that everyone is happier is lovely. We felt so warm reading your last three paragraphs together.

Your book goes on our shelves beside some other amazing books like “The Ethical Slut”, Helen Henley's “Enter with Trumpets” and from years ago Donald Goergen's “The Sexual Celibate”. I guess reading that book was one of many things when we realized life is not a straight line but holding a whole series of contradictions in balance. Your book does that. I suppose part of the appeal of Riding the Horse (p264) is that it eroticizes that aspect of life. I have never yet been trained that way but maybe one day.

You tackle a very serious subject and one we rarely hear talked about. Despite Christianity and Judaism's appalling track record in the treatment of women, you show a degree of sympathy to them. That's not frequent yet both of us here are sympathetic, if not to the institutions of religion, to the life story of Jesus. He showed great sympathy to women who surrounded him; prostitutes and adulterers found comfort and not judgment in his presence. He endured a pain far beyond any of us can conceive and perhaps in his resurrection there is Hope way beyond this life.
