I also grew up Catholic but I never understood the Monk concept. I can appreciate wanting to dedicate your life to God but at some point, shouldn’t your spirituality force you to interact with other people so you can show forth the love of God? The same goes with this lifestyle. Do what you must for your own spiritual and mental well-being but at some point, you need to get out there and show your love and devotion to women in practicality.

As far as the deity question, I think you are confusing religion with spirituality. A woman is not a deity nor God. Don’t confuse the Creator with the creation. I believe it is a dishonor to the Creator when you try to replace the Creator with the creation. The practice of exalting people, animals, and nature above God is know as idolatry and if you are Jewish or a Christian, idolatry is the violation of the very first commandment. (“you shall have no other Gods before Me”). The key words are “before me” so you can worship崇拜侍奉 — adoring service women but be careful not to replace the Creator with the creation. Women were created to be served by men and to govern men from a position of authority. Women were not created to replace God in men’s lives.
