Q. Dear Elise Sutton, I would like to first thank you for your well-informed and educational website. It is apparent that you have put in many hours of hard work. I would like to emphasize that I don't disagree with your beliefs and philosophies, nor do I agree with them. I respect your point of view on society, and it may very well be true.

Our society is certainly diverting its focus to the ongoing empowerment of women. However, I don't believe that any gender can rise above the other, and rule society. That would be equivalent of saying that aliens would soon invade earth, and run this planet. No matter how powerful one gender becomes, there is always the other to match it. Just look at our patriarchal society. No matter how "powerful" men became, women were still there to match them. That is why no matter how powerful women become, men will always be there right next to them.

I would also like to emphasize on the situation many women around the world are dealing with. Women in the United States have made great strides and thankfully continue to make them. But what about the millions of women living in countries that view them as 2nd class citizens? If women want to be in power, we must learn to champion our successes to women worldwide. Does your philosophy apply to ALL women or simply women in the U.S.?
