Q. Dear Ms Sutton: Exquisite site! My creative nature already pondered many of your points, but it is refreshing to see it in print, from someone else, and a qualified woman at that!

My question is odd, to say the least: How can I let my perpetual need to be spanked by a woman be known or "overheard" by ladies living in my apartment complex? Similarly, when staying at a hotel. I guess my hope would be to get a knock on my door from a woman who was willing to oblige.

Being single, I'm not kept in line domestically. Carrying several years' worth of unaddressed issues warranting spankings has "twisted" my mentality of the whole matter to where I now play (selectively, so not to go overboard) with some naughty ways to leak what I need in ways that anyone will understand, and nervously hope someone agrees with me and exercises the role.

Some of my female friends try to help out by giving me ideas, like "If you need someone to spank you, you have to do something they'd agree deserves a spanking" ... (I have many female "friends"; I have a brain, a good job, a sharp and witty personality, and integrity, so they insist that since I'm such a "good guy", they don't want to jeopardize our friendship in any way)

What can I do? Hiring a professional is out of the question, so I'm at the point where now I'm trying my female friends' suggestions!
