I think one of the biggest fallacies that exist about the D&S lifestyle in general, and the FemDom女性支配 — female domination lifestyle in specific, is that it involves one person mistreating another person. That assumption is made by people who only look at the surface and the exterior but never take the time to examine the depth and the interior of a D&S relationship. Your current boyfriend has been around the BDSM lifestyle for eight years so I am sure he has seen a wide range of relationships and lifestyles. He has seen that in the majority of the relationships these people really do care about each other. He has witnessed this first hand, but you have not, thus it is a foreign lifestyle to you. Therefore you can only go by your limited knowledge as you make moral judgments. That is one reason Jesus said that we should not judge others unless we want to be judged. Man judges others by exteriors. God judges us by the interior and by the heart.

So how can dominating another or inflicting pain on another or humiliating another be a loving and caring act? It comes down to motivation and understanding. Let’s look closer at each of the three areas you addressed in your question.
