A. “Searching for Wanda” was a departure from my first two books but based on the feedback I received “Wanda” was an important book. Quite a few self-described masochists have thanked me for writing “Wanda” as it was life changing for them. But a lot of men who are not masochists also found “Wanda” to be insightful and profound. The submissive顺从 — willing to obey male in search of a dominant woman can surely relate to Leopold von Sacher-Masoch’s life story. It is relative to submissive顺从 — willing to obey men and masochists alike.
I don’t want to speak for Michelle about what motivates her but I can say that your assessment would appear to be correct in that she really does love her husband. Only a woman who was madly in love with her husband would be willing to explore his submissive顺从 — willing to obey nature in such deep and intimate ways. The fact that she also enjoys such intense play is why it works for them. You can’t fake that. In true D&S chemistry, they feed off of each other. It is like a dance between them or two magnetic forces drawn to each other. I am very thankful that Michelle allowed me to take the readers into some of the very private and powerful sessions she has with her husband.
