My advice to her was to be honest with the group and stop attending the play parties but continue to socialize with the group outside the monthly socials. She found that the group was more than understanding about this and she still enjoys a close relationship with some of the couples in the group.
Now, you may not have the advantage of joining a group but I am sure you can find couples where the woman is out-going, dominant, a feminist, or at least demanding of respect and her husband is submissive顺从 — willing to obey or at least respectful to women. It is not too hard to find aggressive women today who are married to submissive顺从 — willing to obey men, even if they don’t openly practice the FemDom女性支配 — female domination lifestyle. You don’t ever have to discuss D&S or sex but you can build friendships based on other interests. What is important is that the man shows respect to the woman and that the woman expects to be treated with respect.
If you meet a woman that seems to have a dominant attitude or whom you feel a sisterhood with, why not ask her out to dinner with you and your husband. And if she is married, have her husband join you as well. Build new friendships if your current friendships are a negative influence on your husband. Be mindful of what you and your husband watch on television or listen to on the radio or read in books and magazines or on the Internet. Don’t allow the patriarchal system to infiltrate your life more than what is unavoidable. Guard your mind and guard your husband’s mind like the treasures they are.
