First, let’s address equality. Being equal does not mean we are the same. God loves all of us equally, regardless of gender, race, social class, politics or religion. God loves us when we are good, God loves us when we are bad, God loves us when we go to church, God loves us when we don’t go to church, God loves us unconditionally. And we are to strive to also love others unconditionally. But equality does not mean we are clones. All of us are different with unique talents, gifts, and personalities.
Female Domination is not about inequality but rather it is about female authority and as a Catholic you should have an understanding about authority. As a good Catholic you are in submission to the Church. There is a hierarchy of a Pope and Cardinals and Bishops and Priests that have spiritual authority over the congregation. They are no better than the congregation and in God’s eyes they are of equal value but nevertheless the Church recognizes these positions as positions of authority.
Now, where I disagree with the Catholic Church is that these positions have come to represent male authority as only men can serve in these positions. So you have been raised to believe that men should be in positions of authority because all of these so-called God ordained positions of authority are occupied by men. I will not debate this here (that is a debate for another time) but I am simply pointing out to you that equality is not the same as authority.
