Spirituality is important. We all must seek our own relationship with our Creator. We should not blindly follow old traditions without seeking the truth. Martin Luther had the revelation that man is saved by faith and he went against Church doctrine to start the reformation. What if he had taken the attitude that we should obey church doctrine without studying it out for ourselves?

I don’t expect anyone to believe like me but I hope I have given you some food for thought. I hope if nothing else, you will search this out for yourself and come to your own conclusions. Is what you believe the result of your upbringing? If so, what if you would have been raised by parents from a different religion? Would you believe differently today? It is your responsibility to seek the truth as it pertains to your individual walk with God. If you cannot reconcile female domination with your Faith, than you need to be true to your heart. But at least study it out and keep an open heart and mind. I do wish you nothing but blessings in your life. Take care.

Q. Dear Elise, First let me thank you for your website, book and publication. It's so nice to have a place where one can find intelligent, thoughtful discussion. I'm 52 years old and have been aware of my dominant nature all my life. I have recently run into a situation that I find confusing.
