Women are also making inroads into blue collar项圈 — a band worn around the neck jobs. We have a female electrician who does work for us. She worked for one of the big Electrical companies for many years and now she has started her own business and is doing very well for herself.

You see skilled women plumbers, construction workers, law enforcement officers, etc. I really admire these women because they have chosen to tackle traditional male careers that are physically challenging. Some women get a personal satisfaction out of conquering so-called “male careers” and “male jobs”.

How does this reflect a societal evolution toward female dominance? I don’t think the blue-collar项圈 — a band worn around the neck jobs in themselves are as important as the attitudes of the women who chose these fields. It is similar to women in sports. Women are no longer marching to a patriarchal model that girls are too prissy and fragile and that girls are made up of “sugar and spice and everything nice”. More and more women like to get their hands dirty and they like to sweat and they like to be physical. These women tend to be dominant and aggressive by nature and make great candidates for the FemDom女性支配 — female domination lifestyle.
