Catherine saw where society was headed and she became a pioneer in the FemDom女性支配 — female domination movement. Sometimes pioneers can become frustrated when society is slow to embrace the inevitable. Women such as Catherine have faced tremendous persecution for flying in the face of societal norms. Over time, it can take an emotional toll. People do get burned out and they can grow weary of societal persecution. That is why women such as Catherine are deserving of our gratitude and admiration. They paid the price and they paved the way.
Some of the women you mentioned are still blazing the trail. Nancy Ava Miller is still running her organization People Exchanging Power and she is mentoring dominant women and she is still educating the public about issues related to female domination and BDSM.
The other women you mentioned have all written books that are still available today. So even if they are no longer publicly promoting the FemDom女性支配 — female domination lifestyle, their words of wisdom are still reaching thousands of people through their books. And of course Barbara Wright Abernathy is out there promoting both her book and her female domination lifestyle. Barbara is wonderful because while her book is definitely FemDom女性支配 — female domination, it is also mainstream and it is hard for people to challenge her thoughtful and intelligent approach to female-led relationships.
