Perhaps nature is trying to free men from their macho ways and overly masculine thought patterns through the biological reality of a diminished ability to be sexually macho as they age. Men place far too much emphasis on their penis阴茎 — the male sex organ and men place far too much of their self-worth in their ability to have sexual conquests. Nature has an effective way to humble these men which forces them to focus on other aspects of the female/male relationship and other aspects of sex.

The drugs do provide a way for these men to hold onto that aspect of their “manhood” but even at that, some men find it embarrassing to admit they have to use drugs in order to perform sexually, thus that in itself can be a humbling experience and a blow to the male ego.
