Where feminism has failed is that there is a segment of women who wanted society to get to the place where men would not judge women via externals. Some feminists wanted women to be more like men, no need for cosmetics or sexy clothing or the external things that women do to highlight their sexuality. Society has not gone in that direction because of the way men and women are wired. I have this debate with my feminist friends all the time. We had these discussions in college and it has never stopped. I still get e-mails from women who want men to submit to them but they do not want to ever tap into their sexual power. They expect men to adore them and submit to them no matter how they look or act. Well, unfortunately that is a fantasy world because men are visually oriented and women are foolish not to use their feminine assets.
