I then drafted a contract that reaffirms all her rights and all my responsibilities. She read it and mandated some rewording that made her more comfortable. The beauty of the contract is the final clause which states that the contract can only be dissolved if BOTH parties agree to do such, which of course puts that decision in her hands completely because I will do whatever she wishes. I've never felt so close to her and so rewarded in making her happy. I'm so glad she has taken to this at her own pace. I keep telling her that all I want to do is make her the happiest she can be and that she sets the terms in how to make that happen. I don't know why more men don't realize that for the first part of their lives, in most cases, they were never led astray by their mothers and it's natural for us men to follow the lead of the women in our lives.
