Q. My wife and I have been married for two years (we’ve been together for over 4 years). I am her submissive顺从 — willing to obey and I live a fairly strict female supremacist lifestyle. I have been obedient throughout our life together and I’m well-trained, but I have a couple of cases that recently arose that I believe I should be able to make a decision. I didn’t think that when I said I would “honor and obey” her when we took our vows, it would mean that I would not have any decision-making ability. I know that she has a difficult task in managing her job, our finances, and her household. But I would like to finish school. I lacked less than a year in getting my degree, and after 9 years, I’d like to go back. I helped my wife through her MBA program, and now I would like to go back.

She says that my going to school does not serve her needs. I currently earn a good salary as a computer programmer, and she believes that a degree wouldn’t benefit us much more financially, and it would distract me from my duties to her. She has offered to have me take classes, but these are massage按摩 — rubbing the body to ease it, beauty, or child-care classes from our community college. Do you have any advice on how I can convince her otherwise?
