From Mark B:

Dear Ms Sutton, I have been an interested reader of your site for some time. I have been very interested in reading your thoughts upon societal change, and in looking at the society we live in I see many of your predictions and observations replicated.

For example: When I began my course of study at university (law) it was the first year that female students actually outnumbered male students in the discipline. I understand that since then the balance has swung further in favour of female students and is now around 60-40, and growing incrementally each year. I also notice that the majority of successful lawyers in my particular field are female, particularly those around my age, and the only males I deal with regularly are significantly older.
