In 1979, Reflections magazine was published by Satellite Publishing. It began as a fetish恋物 — a strong sexual focus on one thing magazine with the early editions featuring a story on Ethel Granger; woman with the world's smallest waist. After four editions, the magazine was sold to Eros where it takes on a more FemDom女性支配 — female domination theme, although the magazine continues to cover the fetish恋物 — a strong sexual focus on one thing scene from around the world. In Eros’s first edition of “Reflections” (volume 1/5) it featured Fakir Musafar's bizarre body training techniques and an article on the making of a Mistress女主人 — a woman who leads a submissive partner. High profile Mistresses女主人 — a woman who leads a submissive partner would don the cover of the magazine over the years, including Mistress女主人 — a woman who leads a submissive partner Kristen and Mistress女主人 — a woman who leads a submissive partner Artemis (both featured in past 'FemDom女性支配 — female domination Heritage').

In 1955, Nugget magazine was first published by Dugent Publishing Corp. out of Coral Gables, Florida. Nugget was an adult-oriented “girly” magazine in the 1950’s and 60’s.

Nugget kept getting more and more daring into the 80’s, 90’s (and still today) with further hardcore S&M and FemDom女性支配 — female domination material.
