Anyway, this time I’m not getting carried away and I don’t try to “top from the bottom” (I wouldn’t dare now!). We interact as a normal loving couple most of the week. We discuss things openly and I’m free to express my opinions, whether or not they accord with her own. And I’ve not gone soft; I don’t act in a submissive顺从 — willing to obey way all the time. She even puts up with my jokes, although she warns me if they’re inappropriate, something she’ll call me to account for on Wednesday nights. I’m learning that when she wants to put her foot down, she will do so. She may decide to lecture me about something and I stop what I’m doing, I listen to her and answer “yes Ma’am” as a signal that I will obey. I do not question or argue or try to influence her when she does this. I’m a much happier man and I think I’m better company for her now.
