Almost overnight, and with very little discussion, my husband began to accept my going out whenever I wanted and never questioned me. Donna sure had him pegged, and I was enjoying my new found freedom. Paul saw that my mood had changed considerably, and I was no longer feeling depressed, so he was feeling good about that.

Things went along for a few months like that until one night Donna ran into a guy she told me she had been seeing for a while. We had never really discussed other men, but I guess I wasn't totally surprised. I could see that they really enjoyed being with each other, so I told her I was going to leave. She said no; Frank would always be there when she wanted him' this was girls night out. She made it very clear that she controlled that relationship as well. But the next time we were out Frank showed up again, only this time with a friend of his; for me! At first I said that wasn't interested in meeting any men, but with Donna's encouragement and after a couple of drinks Tony and I were hitting it off really well. To make a long story a little shorter, we began to see each other.
