Donna stopped by later that night and after we had talked for a while and had some wine, she announced that we were going out. I didn't even know she was going to say that. Paul started to object, but Donna said to him in a very stern voice, "Why, do you have a problem with that?" I couldn't believe my eyes, but Paul just backed right down and said, "no problem." After we left I told her I still couldn't believe what had just happened. Then she told me that I could do anything I wanted and Paul wouldn't say a word. She said she saw signs of his weakness when she had been at our house before, and she was going to show me how to exploit it. She said she had done the same thing to her husband a few years ago, and now she ruled her house, and her husband; he had nothing to say. To prove her point we went to her house that night and she showed me. He was doing the laundry when we walked in, but immediately stopped and asked if there was anything she needed. We spent the entire night there with Donna making Al jump to satisfy her every whim. Getting us drinks, fixing us a snack, she even purposely dropped her cigarettes on the floor and made him come and pick them up. At about 1:00 am she told him that we were going out and she would be home late. She told him finish his chores and to go to bed. After we left she then told me she even forbids him to wait up for her. She said I could have the same thing. And I did!
