I thanked her for telling me, but felt my world crashing down when she didn't return home that night. To my knowledge, she has never had another sexual partner during our marriage, but I was confused and torn. I wondered if I had done something to cause her to want an affair. At the same time, if she told me that's what she wanted, I would be completely supportive, as her pleasure is my primary focus in life. After all, she is an independent woman who certainly doesn't have to tell me anything she doesn't wish to.

Saturday and Sunday passed and still no word from my wife. My mind was running wild and I was certain she was having an affair. I finally heard from my Wife on Monday afternoon. She phoned me at work and said, "I need you to go to the country house and bring back my clothes from the party". When I casually asked if Her plans to go to the party had changed, She said very coldly, "Are you questioning Me?" I immediately apologized profusely and have not raised the topic with Her again.

In speaking with one of Her assistants at work, I learned that several of my Wife's business associates (men and Women) were at the party and they all went to Her country home for the weekend to continue socializing and discussing business.
