It should be noted to the readers of this entry that Julian had written me before he had heard from his wife. In his first letter, he was convinced his wife was cuckolding him with a man she met at the party. His letter was asking me for advice on how he could handle the jealous feelings he was experiencing.

Since I receive quite a bit of mail, I did not respond to his letter until the middle of the following week and when I did write back to him, he informed me that his wife had returned home and all of his assumptions were wrong. His wife did not have a sexual fling with another man.
