Julian, this goes to show that you should never jump to conclusions. It also demonstrates the importance of communication. While I agree with your wife that she can come and go as she pleases (while you must gain permission from her), I would advise that she at least keep you abreast of her plans. What if she had been in an accident? Just because a woman is independent and liberated within her marriage does not mean that she doesn’t communicate with her life partner. You may be her slave奴隶 — a person kept in total obedience but you are also her husband. A courtesy call over the weekend informing you that she was Ok would have been a wise thing to do. But that is her decision to make and as her devoted submissive顺从 — willing to obey, you must abide by her rules.

It is obvious that she wanted you to entertain thoughts that she might be cuckolding you with another man.
