Two things have happened over the last 2 years that have me wondering if I’ve gone too far with my submission to her. This is not legal in every state but in our state there is a certain “power of attorney” that one spouse can gain over another if that spouse willfully agrees due to a personal weakness such as being a compulsive gambler or an alcoholic or is on drugs.
