Some women delegate the financial chores to the husband but control the finances by requiring that all checks be signed by the wife. That way the husband makes out all the checks, addresses the envelopes and balances the checkbook but then submits the checks to the wife where she reviews before signing the checks. Some women also require a husband’s paycheck be direct deposited into her account and she gives the husband a weekly allowance. The husband may still be responsible for reconciling the finances and informing the wife of her financial status.

Another way a wife can control the finances is through the use of a financial advisor, preferably a female advisor. That way the husband must go through the female advisor to check the status of investments, retirement accounts, mutual funds, etc. The wife then can monitor her financial heath by consulting with the reputable female advisor.

A man has many talents and gifts and the woman in charge of her marriage will delegate areas to her husband in order to utilize his gifts. But she is still in charge and expects her husband to seek permission and guidance from her. She may seek input and counsel from her husband but the wife ultimately makes the final decision and the husband yields to the wife’s decision, whether he agrees with it or not. By submitting to the authority of the female, the husband ensures harmony in the home instead of stress that comes from arguing, which occurs in far too many marriages.
