One final comment about your question and it has to do with how your wife gets what she wants by giving you the cold shoulder when she does not get her way. What she is doing is using psychological domination and it is a technique that women have used for centuries within a patriarchal society. Men are supposed to be in charge of the marriage (according to society) but the wife learns how to steer her husband in the direction she wants him to go by using subtle and effective psychological domination. The wife learns which buttons to push and she uses those buttons to get what she wants. This has been going on since the beginning of marriage (since Eve persuaded Adam to eat of the fruit which he knew was forbidden) and proves that women have always been in charge of the marital relationship but it has been a stealth domination as not to upset the outward impression that the man is in charge.
