But now women are finding that they no longer need to be so subtle as society is beginning to change. Man has always yielded to the dominance of women behind the closed doors of their marriage but now men are finding they desire to submit to women in a more open manner. Some couples still like to give the appearance that the man is in charge in order to fit within their religious and societal upbringing. However, if they were to be completely honest, the reality is that the wife runs the show behind closed doors. As long as the husband is meeting her needs and expectations, she has no problem saying that the husband is in charge of the marriage. But if he were to ever disappoint her or go in a direction she does not approve of, the wife will use her female power to get what she wants. More and more of today’s modern women see less need to pretend and will exert their authority and dominance in a more open and upfront manner.
