She told me that the LSAT measures my brain's stamina by trying to confuse me and wear me out and that my mental endurance and focus is probably not high enough to succeed in law school. Also, she informed me that the LSAT measures my ability to analyze problems and think logically, and that my 2 low scores prove that I have great difficulty thinking logically, but added, that many MEN are weak in these areas. Lastly, the LSAT measures my reading comprehension power by presenting long, complex passages and then asks me a series of very complex questions about the passage. She suggested that, like many men, I lack the necessary reading comprehension ability to get into and succeed in law school. Law students, and attorneys, must read thousands of cases, which are quite complicated, she said. These require focus and concentration and that women are excellent readers and excel in these mental areas. She backed it up by saying that a majority of law degrees are awarded to women, and these women graduates are ranked higher in their class than their male counterparts! She recommended being a receptionist, paralegal or legal secretary if I wanted a career in law. It would be more appropriate for my level of intellect and I could assist the attorneys, who will mostly be women. I was taken aback a little, but I really appreciated her candor. What do you think of these remarks? Do you agree with her?
