Even though my wife had enlightened me as to the superiority of women (and I had certainly found myself looking at women differently, showing more respect and reverence), we didn’t set out to have a female-led marriage. I think we both subconsciously knew that she was the more dominant partner in our marriage and my laidback nature gelled with her more spirited nature. It was only last year that we took it further and formally established our roles. It started to really dawn on me how I kind of liked it when she became more assertive. But would I prefer it if she was actually more of an authoritarian and gave me no say in anything? And just as importantly, would she prefer it too? I remember saying to her over dinner, “Let’s face it, I pretty much agree to whatever you say. Maybe we should properly formalize putting you in command.” She seemed genuinely delighted at the prospect of extending her control and your website was our template for doing this.
